Our Campers Cove train rides are a popular attraction at the campground. For over twenty-five years TOOTEE has boarded thousands of visitors, big and small, for a journey through the property. Two to three times a week she picks up passengers creating memories as she goes.

In 2016 our original TOOTEE was retired. She had traveled many campground miles, carried many happy campers, and was ready for a well deserved rest.

“I think I can, I think I can, I think I can …”

The little engine that thought she could, ran out of steam.

In the spring of 2016 we welcomed TOOTEE’s replacement.

Ron Hodgson, the trains Engineer, knows the route well. Ron was a previous longtime seasonal camper and previous social director at the campground. Bill Dent has taken over the responsibilities of navigating Tootee Two through Campers Cove.

Our new train has a locomotive horn powered by air and a beautiful sounding bell. Campers can easily tell when it’s time for a train ride!

When we ask previous visitors what they remember about their experience at our campground, typically a ride with TOOTEE is high on their list. With our new train engine ready to roll we hope to continue to ensure that our campers are creating new lifetime memories!  Choo! Choo!
